Blackbird: Pricing

Blackbird's Servers (RIS and PACS) are offered as "on site" and / or "remote" options. Please see the submenu for the advantages and disadvantages of each option.

Notes

There is a fee to set up the servers / workstations as well as a monthly fee that covers monitoring, software use and remote support. Please note that while the data belongs to you, the various components of Blackbird's software solution remain Blackbird property and are never sold.
Generally we do not supply on site hardware (although we provide comprehensive specs and advice).
We set up and manage all servers (RIS, Archive, HL7 broker, Image and Report distribution, Billing and EDI). Your supplier will need to connect the computers to your network and allow internet access.
We do not sell the Blackbird RIS independently of the Blackbird archive.
After 21 days, once you are satisfied with the solution, you will need to purchase a Filemaker Server Advanced License as well as Filemaker Licenses for each workstation - current pricing may be found at https://store.filemaker.com/US/ENG/RTL
When using Blackbird's Archive as your primary Archive (vs backup archive) you are required to follow our modality naming convention (AET)
You are responsible for ensuring you modalities are fully DICOM compliant
You are responsible for your network and internet access (although we will help by monitoring and notifying your contractor regarding problems)

Pricing

Storage

Set Up US$ 11 500 for up to 5 modalities then US$ 207 per additional modality. Any AET addition or change after the initial set up is classed as an additional modality.
Monthly US$ 3.44 per G per month, with a min charge of US$ 2300 p.m. (Typically a busy practice with 2 radiologists and 5 modalities will generate 200 G of data per month)

RIS

Set Up US$ 2875 per radiologist workstation, US$ 1380 for other workstations
Monthly US$ 1668 per radiologist workstation, US$ 863 for other workstations

Billing

Set Up US$ 4600
Monthly EDI as per third party. Otherwise included in RIS license

Non diagnostic Image and Report Distribution

Set Up US$ 5750
Monthly US$ 1.55 per report

Diagnostic Image and Report Distribution per user (either Blackbird routers or web based)

Training

Manuals as well and training videos are included in the purchase price.
Courses (user does "homework" based on web materials we specify and then answers questionnaires which we mark and then discuss with that user to ensure all the core concepts are well understood): US$ 230 per user per course.
Live Remote training: US$ 345 per hour.
